I ran across a very good article today from Running Times (my favorite running mag) where they interviewed several race directors and assorted types to see why races have doubles, and even tripled in price over the past few years. My take…its crap. They are capitalizing on the current running boom. Plain and simple. When a first time triathlon in New York costs just under $900 (yeah, thats correct) and it sells out in under an hour, thats capitalism.
Linkage: Its right here sucka!
