I didn’t see eye to eye with my run today

It was brutal.  I don’t know what it was that made it so difficult, it could be any number of things.  I didn’t eat great yesterday, it was already 85 when I left and 94 when I was done. My legs have been feeling tired, overtraining maybe.  Who knows.  I am just glad that the race is in 3 weeks and not today. I have time to work on hydration and nutrition, stretching and some resistance work, as well as time to focus on the preparation that has been done instead of thinking of how hard the inclines and the mountain are going to be. I mean its not like I am going into this race thinking that I am going to win or anything, I am doing it for the experience and to see how fast I can get it done in.

Since I didn’t see eye to eye with my run today, and Lance isnt in the news enough lately, enjoy the picture.

About runfaraz

I am a guy who loves to run marathons, and has been gifted with exceptionally slow genes which makes for mid pack finishes in races. If I don't run I become an unbalanced manic fool, so yes...running is my prozac. I believe that the key to a happy productive life is balance. Balance in all areas of your life. If one area is out of balance, all others go out of balance. Come back often as I love to see the hit counter go up!!! View all posts by runfaraz
